YOT boats

YOT is the power catamaran brand of the French Catana Group, which is also known for its Bali catamarans. The brand made its debut at the Cannes boat show in 2023 with the YOT 36, and the range has since expanded to include the YOT 41 and the YOT 53, which debuted in 2026.

YOT builds on the advantages of catamarans: the twin hulls provide a stable, calm platform at anchor and offer considerably more living space than a monohull of the same length. Their distinctive fold-down side terraces further extend the deck space on the water.

YOT 36 Electric, developed for Lake Balaton

Catana Group developed the electric version of the YOT 36 together with the Hungarian Power & Sail team for Lake Balaton, where recreational motorboats may only operate with electric propulsion. The YOT 36 is 10,9 m long and nearly 4 m wide. Its two separate cabins each have their own bathroom, while the fold-out side terraces provide nearly 40 m² of deck space. It is powered by 2 × 40 kW ePropulsion motors. According to the manufacturer, its top speed is 17 km/h, with a range of more than 80 km at a cruising speed of 9,5 km/h and approximately 140 km at 7 km/h. It is in stock as a new demonstration boat with Hungarian registration documents.
